PERSONAL BACKGROUND

An Atlanta native, I attended the Westminster Schools, University of Georgia, and Mercer University. I am passionate about my family, three amazing children, and incredible husband.  I am deeply engaged with our local community and donate at least 100 hours annually to those in need. I have been leading Divorce/Separated recovery groups for my church, and recidivism mitigation for our county, and continue to look for opportunities to provide mentorship and servant leadership. I was involved with the creation and growth of my first nationally recognized non-profit at the age of seventeen while a sophomore at the University of Georgia and I have spent the last 25 years actively working to inspire others to overcome obstacles and follow their passion. Through this work, I have been honored to present new concepts that challenge leadership teams of all sizes, from the Pentagon and Fortune 500 companies to Family and Teen Non-Profits. At times, my demand as an out-of-the-box thinker and expert brought me to the table on creative efforts ranging from participating on President Clinton's Transportation Improvement Panel to consulting non-profits of all sizes during the project ideation phase. I have worked for North Point Ministries, been CFO of a state-wide Foster Care non-profit, and served on several boards bringing practical operational business experience, financial savvy, and a long-standing passion for communities to the table.
